Thank You, Honda Waterfront Run

Honda Waterfront Run Barrie half marathon with Bridget's Bunnies logo on event shirt in downtown Barrie

On Sunday, June 7, the Honda Waterfront Run Barrie brought together runners, walkers, volunteers, donors, and community supporters for a day of movement, connection, and generosity. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who chose to support Bridget's Bunnies Pregnancy and Infant Loss Support through this year's event.

Because of your kindness, nine dedicated fundraisers raised $1,884.27 through 45 generous donations.

Every dollar raised will go directly toward supporting individuals and families experiencing miscarriage, pregnancy loss, stillbirth, infant loss, SIUDS, SIDS, and the grief that follows the loss of a pregnancy or infant throughout Simcoe Muskoka and beyond.

Running for Remembrance, Hope, and Support

Pregnancy and infant loss can be an incredibly isolating experience. For many families, finding compassionate support from people who understand their grief can make a meaningful difference during some of life's most difficult moments.

The funds raised through the Honda Waterfront Run Barrie will help ensure that families continue to have access to the support, resources, and community they need when navigating loss.

A Meaningful Day by the Waterfront

Bridget’s family had the opportunity to attend the event and cheer on some of the finishers as they crossed the line. While we couldn't connect with everyone in person, it was especially meaningful to catch a glimpse of two families who have supported Bridget's Bunnies along the way.

Moments like these remind us that our community extends far beyond a single event. Every participant, donor, volunteer, and supporter helps create a network of care for grieving families.

Thank You

To our nine fundraisers: thank you for sharing our mission and inviting others to support it.

To the 45 donors: thank you for your generosity and belief in the importance of grief support for families experiencing pregnancy and infant loss.

To the Honda Waterfront Run Barrie organizers and volunteers: thank you for creating an opportunity for local charities to raise awareness and vital funds while bringing the community together.

And to everyone who ran, walked, cheered, volunteered, or shared our campaign: thank you for standing alongside families who are grieving.

Together, you raised more than funds. You helped ensure that no one has to navigate pregnancy or infant loss alone.
