Gifts in Kind

Donate much-needed items that we can use in our Comfort Kits or as Greeting Cards, or in our Little Loss Libraries. Your support helps us meet demand for our services, providing compassionate guidance to people who are grieving a pregnancy or infant loss.

Your generosity provides comfort and support to families during their time of crisis, so they can begin to process their grief.

We also accept:

  • Handmade or Jellycat Bunnies (small or medium)

  • Gently used books related to pregnancy loss, miscarriage, stillbirth, infant loss, infertility, etc

  • Postage stamps

  • Blank notecards

Please mail your in-kind donations to the address on our Contact page, or get in touch to arrange a pick up or drop off in Barrie.

Comfort Kit Recycling Program

Families who’ve received a Comfort Kit can return new or gently used books and items so they can be included in future kits for others experiencing loss. You can drop off items at our office, place them on our Little Loss Library shelves, mail them in, or bring them to us at community events.

Together, we can ensure every family feels supported when they need it most.

Donate to Our Little Loss Libraries

Where Comfort Kits meet individuals and families in their moment of crisis, our Little Loss Libraries quietly meet them a little further down the road. Designed to ensure easy access to resources related to pregnancy and infant loss, including but not limited to miscarriage, infertility, TFMR, ectopic pregnancy, molar pregnancy, stillbirth, infant loss, SIDS and SUIDS, Little Loss Libraries are placed in public spaces and do not require borrowers to identify themselves prior to borrowing.

Libraries are open throughout Simscoe Muskoka at no cost to borrowers.
